About MeThe Alcazar d'Été was a Café-concert which opened in 1860. It was one of the most popular music halls in Paris. This poster announces the appearance of the cabaret artiste, Kanjarowa. Cheret uses only her last name in the poster. As a popular singer of the day, Kanjarowa is immediately identifiable in this half-length view by her trademark clinging gown, long black gloves and fan.
