About MeLadies black wood fan with lace trim and painted designs.Wide spread fan stretched on eighteen black wood sticks carved with a lattice greek key panel (the end sticks have a semi-foliate pattern on them). Black voile is stretched over the top three-quarters of the sticks and the scalloped edge is trimmed with ornate black lace.
The hinge end has a plain black 'D' hoop holding the sticks together and a long string with a black tassel on the end and a plaited cord finger loop.
The fan is decorated with delicately painted ferns and flowers, some of which are picked out in tiny pink and green sequins.
