About MeThis stoneware four-legged animal has been raku-fired to almost charred black and has splashes of bronze, gold and green flecked across its back.

Raku is a type of Japanese pottery that uses a temperamental kiln that is often built outdoors, rather than a production kiln in which the heat is consistent and controlled. 'Raku' can be translated to English as 'enjoyment'.
