About MeThis is a series of small stoneware and raku sculptures and figures encased in a black painted wood frame. The sculptures include small stones, carved animal forms, a moon face and a long recumbent figure along the foot of the frame.Raku is a type of Japanese pottery that uses a temperamental kiln that is often built outdoors, rather than a production kiln in which the heat is consistent and controlled. 'Raku' can be translated to English as 'enjoyment'.
