About MeSian Puckrin, was awarded the Young Designer-Silversmith Award whilst studying at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen. The Award is run as a competition by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths to encourage innovative work by students of silversmithing at art schools throughout the country. Puckrin's award-winning design for an articulating bowl comprises 20 layers of laser-cut silver with wood cone handles and reflects the growth of modern technology in the Aberdeen area. The Award allowed her to spend two weeks constructing the bowl in the workshops of Grant Mcdonald in London.More About Me
A very modern and innovative take on a bowl. Constructed using 20 layers of laser-cut silver and wooden handles – art ahead of its time!
