About MeLike much of Tim Stead's furniture, this side chair is made from burr elm combined with other native woods. Its fluid, organic feel demonstrates how Stead let the individual quality of each piece of wood come through and partially dictate the form of the finished piece. He never disguised 'imperfections' like knots, but highlighted them as decorative features.
More About Me
This chair is made primarily from burr elm and is built to resemble a corset. The symmetry between resting your back where a corset usually sits is thought provoking.
