About MeThe cystoscope is an instrument which allows a visual examination of the bladder. The sheath is the main body of the device which carries various parts for examination and for the insertion of catheters. At the distal end of the sheath is a small electric lamp for illumination of the bladder. The cables linked the cystoscope to the battery giving power for the lamp.
