Recorded in Lewis engine book as 'lost' but no further details given. Visitor to Aberdeen Maritime Museum (25 June 2004) said that the vessel was lost on its maiden voyage. Confirmed to have been lost on her maiden voyage in January 1927. All 9 crew members were lost. On 22 January a lifeboat was found at 24 n.m. off Firth of Tay floating upside down by the tug STRATHBLANE with signs of attempted use.
