SHIELDS—ApriI 24 : The crew of the MUNGO PARK, of this port, have arrived here from the north, having been forwarded by the agents of the Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners' Benevolent Society. The MUNGO PARK sprang leak soon after leaving the Tyne, and when she was abandoned was in sinking state. The men were six hours in their boat on the open sea before they were picked up by some fishermen, and landed a few miles north of Berwick. The Mungo Park was the property of Mr. John Elliott, of Howdon on the Tyne, registered 248 tons, and was built Aberdeen in 1838.
