According to a newspaper article, when twenty years old, this vessel was sold to Cardiff owners, still in A1 condition.
Sold to Tees Tug Company Ltd and renamed PRIMROSE and converted to tug.
From 29 September 1883 to May 1891, NORTH STAR landed £46,951 worth of fish.
Note: Engines built by Hall Russell & Co. Aberdeen, 2 cylinder compound inverted surface condensing engines, diameter of cylinsders 19" and 38", stroke 2'3", 62HP.
