Usually working in linocut, Robertson’s subjects are often found in agricultural settings; hay bales, golden fields, sheep, chickens and farm cats. The artist does take inspiration from other sources, however, including the urban landscape and certain mythologies; all of which she portrays with wit and a keen eye for composition and line.
