William Gordon

died c.1936
About MeAt the time of his death, William Gordon was living in the Victoria Lodging House on West North Street and our only information about him comes from the personalia he left behind, which were passed to a solicitor and then to the City Archive and finally the Museum.

From this material we can assume that William had family connections on Deeside and that he was variously described as a gardener and a labourer. He joined the Northern Co-operative Company and was a member of the First Battlion Aberdeen City Volunteer Regiment.

He died circa 1936.
