Pete grew up in Banchory, Aberdeenshire, where as a teenager he suffered complications following appendicitis. Unable to attend school he began surfing the internet and, by the age of 19, had launched Mashable.In 2012, then aged 26, Pete was named one of Timemagazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People’. Two years later he featured on Forbes ‘30 under 30’ list and was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.“
