Notes: WILLIAM is in Lloyd's as a schooner, in the Aberdeen Register as a Hermaphrodite. Hermaphrodite denotes an irregular rig part way between two recognised types.
The location and date of the wreck fit with the last entry for WILLIAM in Lloyd's (1851 W194), but the snow rig rather than schooner rig casts some doubt as to whether this was the same vessel.
