General History:
03/07/1912: Launched. Named by Mrs Middleton, wife of Mrs Charles Middleton, secretary to the owning company.
27/05/1938: Rescued two airmen who had ditched outside Granton Harbour.
1939: Towed the trawler INVERTAY from Cape Wrath to Aberdeen, disabled with engine trouble.
25/04/1930: Aground at Ravenscar Rocks at Robin Hoods Bay. Refloated at high tide.
03/03/1946: Stranded on Iceland. Crew rescued.
