About MeThis indenture made the thirty first day of march in the fourteenth year of the reign of our sovereign lord george the second by the grace of god of great britain ffrance and ireland king defender of the faith and in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and forty one between john howard of hampstead in the county of middlesex gentlemen of outpart and william hogarth of leicester square in the parish of st martin in the fields in the said county of middlesex painter of the other part witnefseth that the said john howard for and in consideration of the kent and covenent - therinafter reserved and contained on the part and behalf of the said william hogarth his extors aditors and afsigned to be paid dont and performed hath sealed and delivered being first july stampt in the presence of w wotton memorandum it is hereby expressly agreed by and between the said partys within the named before the operating of the within lease
