About MeKeith Rand studied sculpture at Winchester School of Art. He lived and worked in Scotland for many years before settling on Cranborne Chase in Dorset. You can see other examples of his work in Aberdeen in the Japanese Garden at Duthie Park and in Tyrebagger Forest sculpture trail.

In this work two quarter segments cut form a large log of sitka spruce have been placed together bark to bark. The geometric angular base transcends into an organic and undulating growth.
More About Me

This wooden sculpture was made using Sitka Spruce Tree wood, which is an evergreen coniferous tree which can grow almost 100 meters tall!
