About MeKeith Vaughan was one of the leading exponents of Neo-Romanticism in the 1940s but as his career progressed he became increasingly interested in abstraction.Nevertheless, it is striking figurative compositions such as this that Vaughan is remembered for today. The solidity of the male nude and the muted colours are typical of his approach to the subject.
