About MeThis fountain was manufactured in 1883 to replace one destroyed by the fire at the Market the previous year. It later moved to Tillycorthie House near Udny, hence the name. The University of Aberdeen bought the Tillycorthie estate in 1953 and at a later date, possibly 1978, the granite fountain was gifted to Aberdeen and sited at Hazlehead.
