About MeA silver solid heart shaped brooch, inset with small and large balls in silver and gold, with a further four shaped irregular shapes with crosses and hearts imprinted in them.
Gordon Burnett, himself a graduate of the school, was instrumental in taking forward a new approach to metalworking at Gray’s School of Art. Burnett worked with a variety of metals, including silver, and experimented with new techniques such as CAD/CAM to achieve interesting surface treatments.

More About Me
The brooch is finely decorated with various shaped inserts which emphasises the sense of three-dimensionality to this heavy-looking accessory.
