About MeAlthough honoured for her contribution to education, it is her own distinctive work for which she is best known. Throughout her career she has had many prestigious commissions, including her very well known ecclesiastical work. Many of these were pulpit falls and communion cloths undertaken for the Church of Scotland, depicting simple, elegantly stylised religious imagery.
More About Me
St. Elizabeta of Hungary (1207-1231) is perhaps best known for her miracle of the roses, in which a vision of white and red roses appears instead of revealing the bread she was secretly taking to the poor.
