About MeThis wedding dress was worn to a wedding in Aberdeen in the 1930s.

The net lace full-length wedding dress is patched with rayon satin and is accompanied by a rayon sash and bolero jacket. The flared skirt and tailored bodice are typical of evening fashions of the 1930s. It was in this decade that the wedding dress began to move away from styles based on everyday wear and follow a fashion of its own. This dress was worn with a very fine net veil trimmed with lace.
