About MeThis is a Private View and Promotional card for 'Ian Hamilton Finlay & The Wild Hawthorn Press 1958-1991', an exhibition at The Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh, 10 August - 14 September 1991. The card also promotes the re-print by Graeme Murray Gallery of Finlay's popular 1970 lithograph 'Evening Will Come They Will Sew the Blue Sail' and a new book featuring two essays on Finlay's work by Edwin Morgan, as well as colour illustrations of Wild Hawthorn Press prints and cards.

This invitation is part of an archive that belonged to Joyce Laing OBE. The artist, Ian Hamilton Finlay, was a personal friend of the donor.
