About MeBox containing two spools of thread - one Adonis Blue, the other Aircraft Grey, both Sylko brand - designed by Ian Hamilton Finlay and published by the Wild Hawthorn Press for Christmas 1998. The spools are separated in the box by a small piece of scrunched tissue. The box has an inner lid with the title and publication details printed on it. The outer has been addressed to Joyce Laing in Ian Hamilton Finlay's handwriting and posted 1st class 10 December 1998.

This work is part of an archive that belonged to Joyce Laing, OBE. The artist, Ian Hamilton Finlay, was a personal friend and sent her an example of each new poem, print and multiple as it was made.
