About MeThis dab-ware cheese dish was made at Seaton Pottery, Aberdeen in 1897. It was thrown using an off-white clay and was decorated with brown, blue and green glaze 'dabs'. This was made as a present for a Mrs Milne.More About Me
Do you think the colours chosen for the decorative glaze of this cheese dish are reflective of the potential content? It is an attractive piece but it seems a little reminiscent of mouldy cheese!
