About MeArticle printed in an unknown newspaper on 28 January 1926, related to a sale of thirty five McBey etchings, from Charles Eddy's collection, at the American Galleries. The McBey etchings grossed a total of $23 190, and among some of the record prices were "Dawn: The Camel Patrol Setting Out" (see ABDAG002933) selling for $2200, and "Gamrie" (see ABDAG001977 ) fetching $1800.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this newspaper article.
