About MeCopy of a letter from Morley Kennedy to Langley Taylor dated 15 June 1962, in which Morley suggests institutions which may be interested in Langley's pen and ink sketch titled "The Violin Player" by James McBey. Morley suggests Fenton House, the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music. Morley sent this copy to Marguerite McBey and a "with compliments" slip is included with the letter.This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
