About MeIn London McBey was now mixing with the leisured classes - and his etchings of the time reflect this easy existence. At Holland Park he entertained and though not musical himself, his friends would play on the Steinway in the first floor drawing room. Here the pianist Benno Schonberger is the subject of an etching. He is seen seated at the Steinway in the drawing room at Holland Park, with Mollie and William Murray as his audience.
More About Me
Does this simple etching makes you feel like a fly on the wall, as if you were in the room, enjoying the recital by Schonberger in the presence of the Murrays?
