About MeThis small portable device is usually worn by being clipped inside a pocket of overalls whilst on work shift. Such devices are standard equipment offshore given the ever present danger of a toxic or potentially explosive gas escape. Such devices are capable of detecting minute amounts of such gasses and audibly warning the wearer and also control centre for the installation by bluetooth link that there is a potential hazard.Although initially developed for offshore use such devices have now found a regular place in any workplace where there is the possibility of hazardous gasses being present such as the renewables sector.
