About MeThis drawing is of a hair comb made of forged silver and black enamel. It has four engraved lines. It was designed by Dorothy Hogg at Glasgow School of Art just before she began her masters degree at the Royal School of Art in London and made the blue enamel ring and pendant that are also in the Aberdeen Archives, Gallery & Museums collection. On the reverse there is a drawing of a woman's head facing to the side with the comb in her hair demonstrating how the hair comb should be worn.
Dorothy Hogg was Head of Silversmithing and Jewellery at Edinburgh College of Art.
