About MeMichael Cardew was inspired by historical pottery and this coffee pot has an elegant prehistoric Cretan spout.

The sgraffito decoration was made by scratching through the surface to reveal a lower layer of a contrasting colour. The pattern is known as the Vumé lily named after the Vumé Pottery in Ghana.

This coffee pot has a brown glazed exterior and unglazed interior.
