Obverse: Forward facing crowned head with broad, curling hair framed with text inscription.
Reverse: Centrally placed long cross with three pellets in each corner and text ringing the outer edge.
Manufacture Method: Hammered
Condition: The coin is in OK condition. It is a forgery of the Edwarra type, contemporaneous with legitimate Edward I or II sterling pennies Class 10. The reverse has clear central details and legible text, despite the tops of some letters being lost to being struck too far to one side. The obverse has a well worn king portrait and legible text, bar some loss to wear . The obverse also has a faint indent from the cross on the reverse side.
