About MeCharles Churchill (1731-1764), was an English poet and satirist whose friend John Wilkes was caricatured by Hogarth. Churchill retaliated with this pamphlet in which Hogarth's vanity and envy are attacked in an invective which Garrick quoted as shocking and barbarous. Hogarth retaliated with a caricature of Churchill.
