About MeBorn in 1942, Walter (Wally) Keeler produces mainly domestic and functional wares in saltglazed stoneware. He studied at Harrow School of Art, later teaching there. His wares have been influenced by 18th century Staffordshire moulded forms, old fashioned milk churns and oil cans, as can be seen from this unusual teapot. It has a straight spout and curved extruded strap handle moving from the back towards the spout. Ridged and shaped to resemble sheet metal. It is finished with a grey salt glaze which produces an 'organe peel' effect on this surface of the pot.More About Me
