About MeThere is little difference between the last coins of David II and those of his successor, Robert II, who came to the throne in 1371. The groats continue to feature an angular, rather unattractive portrait with large eyes.

Following David II's devaluation the Scottish groat of fourpence value was worth only threepence in England.
