About MeBlack loose fitting three-quarter length corded silk coat lavishly trimmed with black guipre lace.
Dating to around 1890 this coat was purchased from Watt & Grant of Aberdeen. The lavish trimming would suggest that it was worn during the ordinary mourning period.
