About MeA pair of small embroidered panel featuring Jacobean style embroidery. The traditional motifs of rose, carnations and lilies in an urn shaped vase are central to the design. In one panel it is worked in long & short stitch, chain stitch, herring bone stitches & French knots in pinks, lemons with lilac and green foliage worked in chain stitch, stem stitch and herring-bone stitch. The matching panel is worked in cut-work on an open background highlighted with laid gold threads.
