About MeThe sunrise motif is probably the most famous motif from the wooden cabinet era. Pye manufactured Sunrise radios from 1928 to 1934. The "wireless" was one of the first technologies to enter the family home and early designs were based on furniture to help domesticate the strange new technology.
More About Me
Dual purpose - an art deco item of furniture and an early "wireless radio"; enhancing the pre-war home and promoting the new technology.
