About MeThis is a study for the figure of Christ for the oil 'Christ and the Woman of Samaria' a painting in the collections of Birmingham Art Gallery. The study alongside another study of the woman of Samaria (abdag 3226) varies little from the finished composition. Noth studies are also executed in pencil on primed paper, an identical approach to the figure studies for 'David in the Wilderness' (abdag 3228 + 3229).
