About MeThe subject of this etching is Ziggy the alter ego of pop star David Bowie. Ziggy was one of many of Bowie's stage names and the name first appeared around 1972 during the glam-rock period when Bowie began to dress in a flamboyant androgynous manner. This work was created two years after that date when Bowie's career was at its peak.
