About MeConder's interest in coastlines was founded on a human interest and as with the painting 'The Shore at Dornoch' it is the figure in the painting that holds his interest, although on a much smaller scale. His model is again Mrs Llewellyn Hacon (Mrs E.C. Robichaud) or 'Ryllis' as she was later known, who also featured in 'The Shore at Dornoch.' She is seen as a figure in the distance on a rocky beach beneath the sandstone cliffs.
More About Me
