About MeThis is a triptych of prints that represent the past, present and future, and illuminate the point that the disintegration of one thing can lead to the creation of something more beautiful and positive in its place.

The print representing the past is named ‘disintegration’ and it shows Dunnottar Castle. Clive said, “Dunnottar Castle (a once mighty stronghold) provides a visual lesson from history that we should not take anything that looks invincible or permanent on the surface for granted. Being much loved for its beauty by locals and tourists alike, it also shows that disintegration need not be perceived negatively.” 

Clive was inspired by the John Piper painting of Dunnottar Castle within the Aberdeen Archives, Art Gallery & Museums collection, and the influence can be clearly seen in Clive’s atmospheric recreation of the castle.
