About MeCarte de visite of York Minster choir looking east. York Minster is the cathedral of York and was built from around the eleventh century onwards. On the reverse is a hand-written date in ink: 1868 and another note in pencil: 'York.' There is also a stamp which reads: 'T. P. Stackhouse.'George Washington Wilson
