About MeA flatback figurine which depicts Archer seated on a light brown horse wearing a green jacket, white trousers, yellow spats and a pink riding hat.

Frederick James "Fred" Archer (January 11, 1857 – November 8, 1886) was an English flat race jockey who was the most successful sportsman in horse racing during the Victorian era. The National Horseracing Museum describes him as "the best all-round jockey that the Turf has ever seen." He won the Derby five times and committed suicide by shooting himself.
