The cup is ogee-shaped with a moulded twisted handle terminating in acanthus leaves and gilt decoration. The polychrome landscape scene is partially surrounded by a ribbon and leaf wreath. There is gilt decoration around the rim and the base line of both cup and saucer.
The teacup and saucer show a series of pastoral vignettes, with a shepherd and his sheep on the cup, and a shepherdess and her goat and sheep on the saucer, all beautifully wrapped with a pink ribbon and topped by a bow.
