About MeShield-shaped, silver plated, copper sporting medal with pierced work at the top in the form of a laurel wreath, with a loop and ring attached. The centre of the shield appears gold from the copper and is engraved with an inscription 'For Club Swinging: 50lbs Club 109 Times Round Head with Right and 73 Times with Left Brisbane 1884' and was awarded to Donald Dinnie.

Dinnie was born in Balnacraig near Aboyne, Aberdeenshire in 1837. He turned professional athlete and toured the world at the age of 30, winning over 11,000 competitions and a total of £28,000 in prize-money. He died in 1916 at the age of 79 in poverty.
