About MeJames Cromar Watt was an Aberdonian architect, artist and a jeweller, and was a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

This is an example of Cromar Watt's exploration in working with precious metals. By the end of his life, Cromar Watt had amassed a vast collection of ancient oriental ceramics and precious metal artifacts, and he bequest them to the Gallery on his death.
More About Me

Watt’s elaborate and intricate jewellery pieces required great practice. Exploratory pieces such as this show how much work artists put into perfecting their crafts.
