About MeE38 small find 1472. Small fragment of glass vessel. Medieval vessel glass is rarely found on archaeological sites in Aberdeen, partially because it is so fragile that it decays quickly in the ground. This fragment was found at the site of the Aberdeen Carmelite friary (E38). Tr4a. Appearance of Mother of pearl, losing translucency. Narrow stripes.
