About MeThis is a fragment of a pottery bowl rim which was found during the excavations at the site of the Carmelite friary in Aberdeen in 1994. It is crudely made, probably on a potter's wheel and is decorated around the rim with a pattern of incised lines. Much of the pottery recovered from this site was very fragmentary because it was in burial soils and had been moved around several times as new graves were dug. This fragment was found in a cobbled area to the north of the church.
