About MeSilver bowl with opaque vitreous enamel.The unfinished appearance of this vessel is deliberate to demonstrate the techniques and random effects achieved through the enameling process. When a vessel is removed from the kiln after firing the artist works the surface further with glass-etching creams, salts, stoning and grinding.
